Georgia completed her internship in 2019 and is now undertaking a Masters in Bioinformatics at the University of Skövde in Sweden.
Georgia is a young researcher with a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science. She is currently studying for a Masters in molecular epidemiology and diagnostic science. She conducted a study on the prevalence of malaria HIV/co-infection in febrile patients attending the Buea regional Hospital. Currently she is working on comparing the accuracy of light microscopy and rapid diagnostic test relative to polymerase chain reaction in the diagnosis of Malaria in people living with HIV in Fako Division Cameroon. Her research work will help improve the diagnosis and management of malaria in the target group. She joins The Open Bioeconomy Lab as an intern with the Mboalab in Yaounde, Cameroon. Outside the Lab she is the founder and president of Gleiche foundation with a special interest in caring for special needs kids and orphans.
