Joycelyn Adu-Gyamfi is a biochemist with interest in synthetic biology. She has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. She is a research assistant for the Hive Biolab and the OBL team. Her interest lies in the use of synthetic and molecular biology techniques to improve medical diagnosis and healthcare in Ghana and Africa. She is now working on reviewing training protocols for Enzyme Manufacturing and DNA Assembly Masterclass and building up a plasmid that can be digested by type II restriction enzyme to create a DNA ladder.
