In my Ph.D., I am working in the cell-free biotechnology area. Firstly implementing low-cost protocols for making this technology more accessible. In particular, I am very interested in the implementation of RNA sensors in this low-cost preparation, those could potentially be used for POC diagnostics. Also, I am working on computational modelling transcription and translation to identify the sources of variability among cell-free preparations and improve the robustness of the system.
