Nadine Mowoh

Nadine has a background in Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc). For the undergraduate thesis Nadine investigated the prevalence of intestinal nematodes( hookwork, acaris and Trichuris trichiura) in primary school children aged 6 to 11 years. Presently Nadine works as a researcher at the Mboalab Cameroon which is one of the nodes of The Open Bioeconomy Lab. Nadine has two main areas of focus: one is carrying out research on local manufacturing of enzymes using low cost local resources; and the other is DNA extraction protocols that are cost effective and efficient.
